Hi I'm beginner in Scada. And I'd like to cofigure port (COM 1) and connect to PLC ( HITACHI). I've done lessons from help and stoped on this point. How can I test transmission by RS232 in RTM and prepare channel for var WM f.e. WM0 ( 2 byte )? Thanks Stanislaw Gojlik

Hello! 1. You can test the transmission by making the test screen with GE "Text", which is linked to the argument relating to testing channel. So you can observe the channel value. The same way as to use the "Components View" option in Profiler screen to observe the channels values. 2. You can prepare channel for var WM by autocreation function. To do this, use the drag&drop method (for example, you can move the HITACHI group from "Sources/Receivers" to the RTM node).

Hi! I still can't establish connection between PLC (HITACHI) and PC and according to this I've got a question: could You send me some DEMO project in which transmission is done properly so that I can find out what I'm doing wrong? Or maybe I can send You my project so that You can tell me what's wrong with it? Regards Stanislaw Gojlik
